Natalie T. Nibler is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC 6394) in the State of California. She has over 9 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. She has a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Organizational Consulting earned at Pacific University in Hillsboro Oregon. She received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Western Oregon University in Monmouth Oregon. She has worked in inpatient and residential treatment facilities for adults as well as adolescents in both Oregon and California. In those settings, she provided individual therapy, family, and group therapy services. Additionally, she has worked in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) setting providing couples therapy, individual therapy, and crisis intervention. She has specialized training in crisis intervention, dual-diagnosis, addiction treatment, and trauma work. She is currently also working in her community as a member of the Psychiatric Emergency Response Team (PERT Clinician) and responds to Mental Health crises alongside San Diego Police.
Natalie has experience working with Anxiety Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD/ADHD), Mood Disorders (Depression and Bipolar), Autism Spectrum, Dual Diagnosis(Substance abuse and a Mental Health Disorder), Adoption/foster care (Adjustment/Attachment disorders), Military/First Responders, Couples therapy and Trauma oriented psychotherapy.
She has received training in the following evidence-based practice therapy models: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Trauma Informed Care (TIC), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Natalie is passionate about continued personal and professional growth, as such, she regularly completes advanced clinical training.
