Bio

Jenna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (LMFT 128169) working with adults, couples, and families.  She has a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. Jenna began working in the private practice setting in 2021. Prior to this she worked in residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care. Specialty areas include: grief and loss, eating disorders, addictions, life transitions, depression, and anxiety.

Jenna’s primary clinical orientation is Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), completing her Level 2 training in 2023 in the Netherlands. This non-pathologizing approach highlights inner exploration, attuning to one’s inner and outer body, and developing self-compassion and acceptance. IFS posits that we all consist of multitudes; various parts of us that tend to operate semi-consciously in our lives and may hold intense beliefs and emotions that effect our wellbeing and relationships. IFS is a journey of witnessing, healing, and integrating these parts to live a meaningful and connected life.

Although she most often works within the framework of IFS, Jenna also incorporates family systems theory, psycho-education, somatic experience, and mindfulness into her work. Jenna would like to thank her clients – past, present, and future - for their courage in allowing personal evolution and transformation into their lives; it’s an honor to be a supportive witness to this process.
