Olga Goodman, LCSW

Olga is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW ) with over 12 years of experience. Olga believes in the healing power of human relationships, that’s why she prioritizes making her office a safe place for her clients where they feel truly seen and accepted.  She helps clients to build awareness and make sense of their puzzling emotional and behavioral responses, which allows them to live their lives with a greater sense of freedom, confidence, and self-compassion.

Olga started her education in her native country of Belarus and completed Bachelor’s degree at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Her graduate studies brought her to San Diego where she obtained Master of Social Work from San Diego State University. She completed a year-long internship at the UCSD Co-Occurring Disorders program where she built competence addressing underlying causes of addictions and supporting people in their substance use recovery.

 Olga has obtained EMDR and Grief Informed Professional certifications. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt Therapy, Schema Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual and Couple Therapy.  She uses an eclectic approach, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs.
